Church Planting in Teouma Bush Community, we have recognised that this community is in desperate need of hope and love that only God can give. Through continued prayer we have decided to start taking the initial steps to planting a solid biblical church in this community.
Mission: Following Matthew 28:19-20, we aim to make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Gospel-Centered:We emphasize salvation through Jesus Christ, sovereignty of God, centrality of Christ, and repentance and faith.
Contextualisation: Adapting our approach while preserving doctrinal purity to
engage the local culture.
Discipleship: Planting churches to nurture believers in Biblical truth through
evangelism, baptism, and teaching.
Community Impact:
- Training Leaders: Equipping indigenous leaders for effective pastoral ministry.
- Holistic Ministry: Addressing spiritual and physical needs through community projects
and mercy ministries.
- Sustainability: Establishing self-sustaining churches capable of reproducing new
congregations.
Education and Collaboration:
- Theological Education: Deepening believers' understanding of Biblical theology.
- Unity: Collaborating with other evangelical churches while maintaining theological
distinctives.
Approach:
- Bible Studies: Engaging various groups including young adults, men, women, youth,
and the community.
- Leadership and Children's Programs: Developing leaders and nurturing children
through structured programs.
- Cultural Engagement: Equipping missionaries to defend and present Christianity in the local cultural context.
